Psychological Services and University Health Services are sponsoring National Depression Screening Day on Thursday, Oct. 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the second floor of the Kent Student Center. The free program offers students, faculty, staff and the Kent community an opportunity to learn about depression and other related mental health concerns.

Stop by for a confidential screening, or to pick up information for yourself or someone your know. Also register to win an Ipod nano donated by the KSU Apple Store, $200 Coca Cola scholarships and other prizes.

there were 5 cop cars includeing a k9 unit on top of the swat truck. it was all for a demonstration i guess. there were a shitload of cops and they had a table with a shitload of guns to show off too. they had an mp4, mp5, shotgun, beterrta, glock, and a sniper rifle. they were all unloaded, so they let you pick them up and get a feel for them which was kinda cool. then after that they had the k9 unit go after one of the cops in a big coat and bring him down which was kinda cool.
