What ELSE is going on...
i think it might be tome to accept that fact that my engine may be ****ed and i possibly have a melted piston. ill find out this weekend when i take the head off...
if i cant get the car fixed by sunday, im dont with it and selling everything for good this time, no turning back. let me know if you might be interested in anything from my car.
peace.
im gonna need a stock lx catback exhaust if i decide to part out if anyone has one. id be willing to trade my modified greddy evo exhaust for it straight up.

my spark plugs are solid black o i switched them with my old set of ik20s and its running ok now.
i still think it may be my map sensor as well b/c im throwing codes for that, so if my engine is still good, im gonna buy a map sensor from honda on sat.

Solid black plugs means you are running rich (flames out the tail pipe is another big sign of that too lol). Scratch the plugs, the black crap should come off, you cylinders probably need cleaned too.

you've been super rich since day one, lean it out!
putting the head and cam on there would help, since more power would lean it out some. and then you just tune once after that

Well... better to rich than to lean..... to lean and you WILL be putting in a new motor.... but I think that is bit to rich
well, i think i have good news...
i just ran the compression test and it came out as follows:
cylinder 1 - 210psi
cylinder 2 - 210psi
cylinder 3 - 205psi
cylinder 4 - 215psi
any compression test should be within 20psi for all cylinders and this was almost perfect, so i figure the engine is fine
next, threw a high voltage for the map sensor code (p0108) again today for the 2nd day in a row, so that leads me to think that is the problem and i need to work on that. so im gonna work with the voltage clamp on the e-manage and try to figure outt a good setting and if i cant get it to work with that, ill buy a new map sensor and get a missing link.

Who cares? Your like 19 or 20 and so is she. They have to know you already are man. Parents aren't stupid, they did the same **** when they were young.
Oh Matt, next thing you should do to your engine bay is get the piping painted and get the manifold coated. And clean the **** out of it. That will make it look real nice.
