We need to get another CF trunk Groupbuy going and we need some competition the price is still very high for these products as teh hoods are now down as cheap as $350 brand new fo VIS.... lets try to get another CF trunk groupbuy!!! I'm VERY INTERESTED!!!

My hook up said that they can do it for 425 with an order of 5 and 415 for an order of 10. This price they quoted was without shipping.

Yea shipping will be about 100 plus 425+100=525 there wont be a need to be for GB, because that is what it retail at. if they are charging
shipping then it wouldnt be a group buy,

sorry to say, but I highly doubt you'll ever come across prices like that. If you look at 410 then take the shipping out, you'll end up with a price that's even less then cost. I guess my hook up can't help you guys here. Sorry.

Well im not fina start argue, but i sure can get if for 450 shipped to my door, yea ill go with my own connection here, And i dont need to get anything for free unless you are MR Sponsored. But anyway a GB is suppose to be good you know say 10 people and 450 shipped now that is good price even with 5 people 475 is good. well then too bad then huh. im out.

well... no offense the cost to build a CF trunk sure as hell isn't $300 or anywhere near that price... it wouldn't be making enough profit for them to even consider making them.... the cost of materials and the molds they put it in (a.k.a. labor) is probably closer to $150-200... i'm not trying to pick fights either... but everyone is out to make a$$loads of money guys... and if you honestly did think that it costs about $350 to make a CF trunk, or "at cost" then you probably get ripped for parts all the time... i can also get mine through sponsers for about $260 shipped, cause of free shipping, but anyways i don't do it cause they also charge installation at their shops and installation is $200.. not worth it in my opinion... but anywayz... i tried at least.... good luck nexxt time boys

When I mentioned that the price mentioned isn't even at cost, I don't mean the cost to MAKE THE CF TRUNK. I ment the cost at which we get wholesale. This is accounting for their cost to make the mold, cast the cf, lay the fiberglass/resin, buy and spray the clear, package, ship, pay the custom charges and dutys, and I'm sure some marketing and such is tied into that cost somewhere. Above all that add a little for wholesale, and a little more for retail. This will bring you to the total. I'm sure it doesn't cost $350.00 to make, but hey that's business. I work with the owner of VIS on a weekly basis. If you get a trunk for $260.00 great. Chances are, it's not VIS. There's no way the owner of VIS allows for those type of prices. It's called killing the market. If you wanna talk about getting ripped, the prices they charge for installation is considered getting ripped. How hard can it be to install a few bolts and align the trunk? Like I mentioned before, I'm only trying help....I guess my efforts were in vain. Good luck finding a good deal.
