01-02 style OR 03-05. I just dont care anymore. It needs to be MT with 75-85k miles on it. 2 door version preferred, but sedan would be fine.

NO side air bags (not a big deal if the cluster has them- it wont light up anyways)
NO ABS (not a big deal if the cluster has it- it wont light up anyways)
NO AUTO's (dealbreaker)

I can buy it from you or swap you my rare MT 03-05 style red ring'd LED EX cluster (+ a lil $ from you if you got the 01-02 style). It currently has 43,583 on it at the time of this posting.

I did the cluster swap and I have 40k on my cluster now and they are going to record my mileage and I dont want an odometer fraud warning showing up on carfax for when I go to sell my car. I guess I"m just too cheap to drop 150-200 on recalibrating the cluster.

search ebay for "01 civic cluster" or a different year. i bet you can find one of the newer ones even with the same mileage. i finally got one of the new led ones with perfect mileage for mine but ofcourse i have several frauds recorded previously lol i just dont care.

Yeah, ****... I could rewire my old cluster, but it has 67,748 which is about 5K more then last time I got emissions tested and I drove about 10k more then that.

you could pull a fast one on the smog guy. i do that all the time when the comp says enter mileage, i quickly just tell him what it is to make it go faster. hes never gone and checked again in the car to verify. and if he does, you can say its just a loaner gauge cluster because the real one is being fixed. time is money for those guys so if they can speed up the process they will be happy. they could care less about reporting the exact mileage anyway.

I've got one in the garage with like 84 I think on it. I'll go look in my owners manual real quick and check the actual mileage from when I did the swap but its 80 something. From an 01 manual LX. PM me.

HAHA... HMMM, well ****, I kinda want it to be legit kuz I'm sure they will look. Last time there were three ppl working on my car at once. I was like wtf... And they made me stand in this little booth while they did their thing. I felt like a detained terrorist until they cleared my car.

SOOOO... Ss there any difference between the 2 and 4 door on the 01-02 style? If I drop a 4 door version in my coupe, would the door open light show up kuz its waiting for 2 more doors to be closed.... or something like that?

sedan has green backlight, coupe has orange. thats mostly the only difference, aside from the different colors of gauge face. 01 sedan has black face, 02 sedan has white/silver face, most of the 01-02 coupes have the greyish faces.

Ahh, thats right. Hmm, what about side air bags on the 01-02 style clusters- is there a light on there that shows for them? I dont have side air bags, but if I get a cluster that does, what will it look like?

the side airbag light will not come on if you do not have side airbag in the car. the icon is there, but its blacked out like the rest of em.

TRIZ i told u i can reprogram the miles if the cluster is too low. i can make the number higher but not lower. LMK
