Rep Power: 0 bought the joint...... working to correct.
here's a pic of the problem. Anyone else who's run into this I'd love to hear the story. Pic sucks, took it with my phone laying upside down under the car. REALLY INTERESTED IN A COMPLETE Front Suspension overhaul with aftermarket parts.
I have eiback sportlines and Tokico HP's and Eibach camber kits, but I'd like something beefier so that this doesn't happen again. I drive the **** out of my car but I don't drive it this hard.
::edit pulling the rotor in about an hour (happy new years to me!) more pics to follow.

Rep Power: 0 WTF?? how did that happen, damn. well did you disconect the knuckle from the strut?
im not sure what you are trying to do but what i would do to dissasemble that area,
Take off wheel,
disconect the 2 bolts of the strut from the knuckle
take off axe bolt
drop the arm and knuckle down and pull out the axle from the knuckle
remove ball joint cotter pin and nut
carefull smack bottom of ball joint with hamme to pop it out of lower control arm

Rep Power: 0 air hammer and heat will help alot on reinstall, heat up spindle arm around ball joint,( expands metal ) use air hammer to pound in new ball joint, metal cools and contracts and that ball joint shouldn't go anywhere then. Just did last week

Same exact thing just happened to me. I had tokico blue's, eibach 1" drop with eibach sways and new endlinks.... also had the control arm bushings replaced. My guy who did the install said the front passenger lower balljoint should be replaced soon. But, Majestic said they can't get em & I would need to order the whole knuckle assembly. I got the car back figuring the balljoint would last a little bit... nope. So I called Honda dealer and they had the balljoints in stock although they are not in the book anymore. Damnit, I wish the guy who answered the phone there last week knew that, they would have gotten done with everything else.
