Looking for Civic Special Edition Radio
I was wondering where would be the best place to get this headunit?
I've looked everywhere, salvage yards, eBay, and yes, the Dealership.
But buying it new is too much money, i would like to get it cheaper.
Maybe used off some one off here...

i think it looks ugly imo, i would go with a nice single din. but i havent seen anybody on here with at. so hopefully somebody feels the same way i do and has one that he can hook u up with

Rep Power: 305 I have one in my '01 and it looks fukin sexy. A while back before the 06 vic models were released, there was a flood of SE units from the SE '05 being sold here and on Ebay. Prices ranged from 250-500. I chose this because it was OEM, looks good and I wasnt in to ICE, so no subs or speakers etc. for me. Another plus is the backlight is amber so it matches my interior. All I can say is that they are much harder to find now, so if you get one, hang on to it.

Rep Power: 0 I like mine. Black could look better but the silver isn't bad. I also like that it has an aux jack in the front. Easily accomodates an mp3 player. Sounds pretty good too.
I have noticed that some of my mp3 cd's have had problems with playback. Seems after they get older, they HU starts to skip or has problems reading them.

Just got mine for a little over $200. Personally, I like it, but, yeah, it would be better if it was in black.
I, too, had heard that the overseas ones were black. I thought there was a picture posted here once of one of them...
