I am looking for a D17 motor the v-tec one. I threw a rod and blew a golfball sized hole in my block, me and my parents don't have enough money to have the honda dealership fix it, so we are gonig to get out mechanic who is dirt cheap to fix it for us...We just need a new motor

ive got a d17a6 block from an HX its Vtec same block as in the ex

where you located and how much you want for block? and whats mileage and condition?

really how much mileage did you have ? i never knew honda would do that?

14,000 miles. The motor was not fixable. The actual car has 40,000 miles.

so you changed engine before ? how come engine blew already, i thought warranty finished at 36,000 unless you got extended ?do you know where i can find a d17 vtec engine ?
