ok my brother's friend has a 2002 civic ex 5spd. i don't know what happened but they think he blew his engine. (i don't know first time i have talked to my brother in like a year). well i told him i would go on here and see if anybody knew where i can find a low mileaged D17a2 engine for a good price so he doesn't have to go through the honda company. so if anybody knows where he can get one please let me know.

I have a 2002 EX manual tranny d17a2 for sale. The motor has 55k miles on it. Well taken care of and never raced. Oil changes every 3,000 miles. Im looking to get 575 for everything not including s&h. let me know if youre interested.
