you can all talk the talk but can you walk the walk
everyone is talking....oh yeah...i have a turbo, look at my setup...no mine is better
well, how do they really compare....are you scootin faster?
can you keep up with cars that u never could with before
do you make people laugh and then surprise them
what gains have people experienced and what is around the avg 1/4
also...if you actually have a turbo, what is the brand to get
i dont want to look into any of this turbodisconter ****, anything with discount
isnt gonna be quality, i want somehting that says Greddy or HKS, or Blitz

Mines not installed yet (Next week)... but mine will clearly have GReddy, Autometer, ACT, HPR, Random Technology, K&N, Turbonetics, TiAL, and Spearco all over it (not literally all over it... no stickers). Quality isn't in a name though. You could have all the best parts in the world and have it all amount to ****. It's how well the parts work together. I bought the Stafford Fabrications manifold and it's pretty good quality. The rest I put together custom. In a couple weeks, I'll be posting my dyno graphs (5 and 8psi) and videos, and then some real 1/4 mile slips (at sealevel).
I understand that you are not interested about the turbo discounters kit. But, as far as keeping up with cars here is my only example.. One of my friends owns a GTI 1.8T. Before turbo, are cars were neck and neck. Now he is left behind by several car lengths. I can't post 1/4 mile times because I'm still trying to get my fuel problem resolved. When I do I'll post new dyno #'s and 1/4 times

Just because something doesnt have a huge name doesnt mean anything. Stafford Fabrications has done several showcars and been is many magazines. Just because it isnt greddy or HKS, doesnt mean its not good. Many of the people out here that have greddy kits on their earlier civics are switching to Stafford's manifolds. They are extremely high quality.
Also, they arent stamped out, each and every one is hand made. He does this to keep the quality at the highest level possible. His custom kits have sold for as much as $5500. so for the $2900 that the kit is being sold for now, you are getting extreme quality parts, and power gains to go with it.
To answer your question, on 6 psi i raced my father in his 1985 corvette with an edelbrock performer cam and 1.6:1 roller rockers. I beat him by about 4-5 carlengths. And at the track he ran a 15.0 @ 92 mph. So yea, my car gain a little power.

this thread is absurd. If you read all the threads regarding the different turbos you can make an educated guess and wouldnt have to ask this stupid *** questions. 13 Views and no response? Did it occur to you that not everyone on this website has a turbo? And as far as regards to turbo discounters, what do you base your highly biased information on? Because it says discounters? Thats ridiculous. I know you are a "Diamond Member" but you truely are an example of an ultimate newb. This thread is disgusting and should be locked.
