Turbo Pistons

My name is Donald and I work for a company called Blackdog Motorsports. We have been carrying products for dodge neons but we're expanding our product line up.

This post is to see how many of you 7thgens with turbos are interested in beefing those bottom ends with 9:1 forged turbo pistons, rings, and pins.

Pricing hasn't been determine but updates will follow.

website is www.blackdogmotorsports.com

We currently do not have rods. I'll look into that as well. I'll get pricing for the pistons ASAP.

What kind of ballpark price are you guys looking at seriously?

good pistons usually run anywhere from 400 to 600...im assuming they will be the best (no pressure : ))?

I wouldn't pay more then $350 for pistons on a D series engine and only then for pretty good ones. If you could manufacture them for $300-$350, that would be decent to me.

Ok, The pistons are made of 2618 alloy and are forged aluminum. They are a great investment for those of you wanting to turn the boost up more than the 6 psi kits you purchase.

The compression is 9:1 and they are available in std bore and .020 overbore.

Pricing: for pistons, wrist pins, and locks $439 Rings add $69

website: www.blackdogmotorsports.com

(540) 389-9100

edit: oops I made a big error on the typo thanks for the heads up.

eh, that price is to much. It's just not worth spending that much on pistons unless it's for heavy race applications, which just isn't possible with these cars, the engine is to small.

Sorry guys its the best price I could do. D17A's products seem not to be the hot item on the market for hondas and pretty hard to come by. For you serious racers looking to push the HP envelope on those turbo kits these pistons will get it done.

You have rods made from crower? Did they custom make them for you, or did they already have them? I didn't think they were out yet... they were being advertised in their 2004 catalog.
