Super Charger vs. Turbo

Is either a supercharger and a turbo charger connected to your a/c. If so will it affect the maximun coolness or heat coming out of my vents?

Turbos and superchargers alone wont touch the ac (unless the supercharger comes witha a different diameter crank pulley.

If you are talking about products that use the air conditioning to cool the intercooler?

Yes they will affect the amount of cooling, conservation of energy.

You say you drive a car and are an enthusiast...... righhhhtttt! JK bro, yea, they have nothing to do with eachother. You are just mistaken into thinking the supercharger gets its power from the belt that powers the AC. I guess you can think that if the supercharger is going off a pulley that is connected to the belt, that the AC has less power to use from the belt which is engine power?!? Whatever, go forced induction and have fun.

Clutch coming = Nitrous Install Yeaaaa

Neither will affect your A/C. Getting a super charger to fit, will be tricky- there isn't a lot of room in our engine bays, to fit one. IMO it will be better than a turbo, though.

The only other way you could effect it is if you change the size of your engine pulleys. This can either slow down or speed up you A/C compresser. If you run underdrive pulleys (ie slow down the belt) you slow down your compressor your A/C will suck.

Since most/all superchargers for Civics are belt driven (and shared with the a/c) if you change your engine pulley you will effect you A/C/electrical/powersteering

So bublik they do have something to do with one another. However if you don't change you pulleys, there will be no effect (unless you blow your belt from to much load)

Also You can use a your aircondition system to create a super dense (Ie cold) charge for quick acceleration. Read up on the New Ford F-150 SVT truck.
