05 lx Frankenstein build planning questions

I have a 05 civic lx I wanna make a sleeper build k24/k20a2 na in the beginning but turbo later on. Do you think it will fit without heavy modification and be reasonably priced? (At least before turbo)

Will a K24 fit, yes. It's been done by plenty of people, myself included.

Reasonably priced? Define reasonably. But this should tell you what you need to know.

I definitely plan on spending the money in the places it counts and have been doing plenty of research. I guess I just hope it doesnt exceed the price of buying one of the newer gen civics off the lot.
Also I really don’t plan on running high psi much I only want to have that ability.

Mine made 333 whp with around 8 psi. Any more and there was too much knock seen.
