although OP need to understand that driver is the best mod a car can have. engine is just to make it move
from his sig: "its not how you stand beside your car its how you race it! "
well, most of the racers work up the suspension first, then go to the target engine (with suspension sorted out to withstand the engine)
guess that's the level we can expect with a camaro driver... engine is all, driver is nothing.

Re: d17a6 engine swap
im not racing! lol my sig is just a jokey kinda thing ive said since the first fast n furious movie came out. basically my d17a6 has almost 300000 miles and I cant seem to find another locally but plenty of d17a2 to be had for around 500.00, the other alternative is a rebuild .

Re: d17a6 engine swap
you're better off with a rebuild... that way you engine will pretty much be brand new again. if your put an old d17a2 in there, god knows what the hell that engine has been through.
you are most likely going to spend more $ and have more headachs trying to get that d17a2 in there working properly.
