Talking D17

Hi All,

I have a honda civic, es8 model yr 2002 with a d17 engine and with emanage - Ultimate, 4-2-1, simota air intake..

Is there any possible upgrades that can be done to match a b16a's power and yes, without installing a turbo??

without a turbo or building the block, maybe.

you would need cams, assuming it is a vtec model, and basically build the head. springs, retainers, port, polish, metal headgasket, and thermal intake gasket.

id suggest a lightweight flywheel so u can rev quicker to keep up with that cam. and ur gonna need more than that emanage to tune, hondata kpro is the only reliable option.

then, MAYBE, then it will have close to the power of a b16.

OR

you should start looking for a k series swap from a junkyard.
