When swapping a motor?
When swapping a motor?
About to do a motor swap on my 04 EX and preparing for it as best as possible. I got a motor with 90k going in to replace my 146k motor with a leaky head gasket.
A good buddy who owns a garage is doing the swap.
My question is what else should i change, service, or replace while i have the motor out?

Re: When swapping a motor?
Replace:
Timing belt, water pump, auto tensioner, crank seal, camshaft seal, power steering belt, accessory belt, spark plugs. If it hasn't been ran for a long time you might want to make sure the injectors are clear. Oh yea and definitely change the clutch if it's a manual.
All this is MUCH easier with the engine out of the car.
