My Boosted em2 is complete!

After a month of doing the installation, tuning and such I finally got my car back. Tuned on AEM EMS. runs extremely smooth and using a TSI turbo kit that I bought used ad customized.

The shop tuned it to the max for the injectors and clutch until I get a new clutch and bigger injectors then im aiming for 8-9 LBS on my stock motor

Currently its tuned at 4.5 PSI and 152.5 HP and 151 TQ
Its almost double the stock motor. I couldnt beleive how much harder it pulled.

Ill post the dyno sheet soon and a video of a small 1st gear pull. No traction in 1st and 2nd gear .. need some new tires too.

skip to about halfway through then the pull comes.. ignore the shifting.. its not easy to shift, hold a phone steady and handle torque steer lol

Says your video is private..when you go to post it click the you tube button and put he link in there. that way the video shows up on the site..and you have to go to youtube and make it public.

Re: My Boosted em2 is complete!

did you have to do anything with your intake manifold? i know its been a while since 2011 but if you still have the car or remember please let me know because they're plastic and with boost they might kaboom.

User hasn’t been on since 2012 so I doubt you’ll hear anything back.

Re: My Boosted em2 is complete!

Modifying a D16Y8 manifold to fit the D17 is common. Lots of info in the forced induction section.

Re: My Boosted em2 is complete!

The OEM intake mani was good for boost up to 8-10psi, iirc. I ran it with boost way back when with no issues, granted low boost bc wastegate actuator problem

I can tell you the 10th gen 1.5T and 2.0T intake mani is plastic
