Re: H22a
ive never seen it done but we are talking about a huge and heavy prelude engine. you can swap them in accords but i wouldnt even try putting it in a civic where there are much easier and cheaper alternatives.

Re: H22a
It's been done once before. You need to make custom mounts and figure out all the wiring yourself, unless your able to do that yourself, it'd be more expensive than a k-swap.
Re: H22a
yeah it's crazy expensive and difficult not to mention questionably legal to swap any b/h series motor into our car... Unless you're AEM building a crazy Bonneville speed car with an unlimited budget....
go with a K

Re: H22a
One of my Buddys(R.I.P Shane) had a 2000 civic hatch with a h22a. He got the car from a private sale in Nova Scotia(Canada). The thing was crazy.. He had a turbo set up ready but died in a car accident before it could be properly tuned.
Re: H22a
Its 75 pounds. Chances are if you had the time and money to do a h22 swap you could remove weight in other places or get a little better front suspension swap.... or maybe get on a diet. You guys are right though, there are better options but if you had an h22 on hand and some know how, go for it.
