K-Pro Help

Hey

Ok so i have no clue what to do i've been on the Hondata website and it says the list of supported ECU's.

2002-2004 RSX Base 5 speed (PND -A0 ECU)
2002-2004 RSX Type S 6 speed (PRB-A0 - ECU)
2002-2004 CRV 5 speed (PPA-A0 ECU)
2002-2005 Japanese DC5 Integra Type R (PRC ECU)
2003-2005 Japanese Civic Type R (PRD ECU)
2002-2005 Civic Si (PNF ECU)

The one in red is the ECU im going to get hold of as this in the UK is the easiest vehicle to rip one from.
Anyway so onto my question, Hondata say you need to move two wires for narrowband operation. But i read on the forum that the PRA Ecu's are already wired for 2 o2 sensors so therefore moving pins is not needed it also states that i have to run closed loop and disable OBDII Linky - Scroll to bottom of pagei also downloaded the k-pro software and looked at the pre done calibrations theres two sections... D17 PRA and D17 PRB... but ahhhh it just doesnt make sense the website says one thing the forum says another and the calibrations tell me completely different.

Please help or tell me that k-pro is **** and i should run something else

Re: K-Pro Help

I am assuming you have an 01 or 02 honda civic since you live in England which means you would need to run the PRA calibration and you need to move the two wire so you can use the secondary o2 input for closed loop operation. you can still use obd2 on this map but you do have to turn off one code which is located in the closed loop tab and you will probably have to check the box that says "use secondary o2 input for closed loop operation", which is also in the closed loop tab in parameters.

it is the wiring in the chasis/car that determines if you have to run PRA or PRB calibration not the ecu cause you can change the ecu calibration with a new map.
Also if the crv is probably not the easiest ecu for you to get you should be able to grab any k-series ecu that is a MT ecu out of the hatchback civic ep3 chassis I know you guys have type R's all over the place there it would probably be listed as PNF ecu

oh and K-pro is the greatest thing ever to run on 7thgens vics!!!
