Rep Power: 0 K20 Swap Serpentine Belt Change
Just wondering if anyone had experience with a K20A2 Serpentine Belt Change, in the 01-03 civics.
Just noticed a tiny spider web crack on my belt, right in the middle of the belt.
It looks real tight in there.

^^ i think he knew that already. lol..
yeah its a real bitch to change the belt in almost any honda because the space is so limited, not to mention your k20 is in a civic.. if its not too difficult for you some people like to lift the motor out of the engine bay a little and then change the belt to make things a lot easier.

what do you need to know about changing it? i changed it twice.
Just get a tensioner wrench and take out ur old one and put in your new one.
Space is limited, but you can get it in there no problem.
Please do not lift out the motor just to install a serpentine belt.
do you have an a2, a3? do you run PS or you running the idler pulley?

hey its not hard at all. if you remove your engine your an idiot lol. answer d5civics questions and you'll know your next move. basically you turn the autotensioner with a ratchet and socket and remove the old belt. reverse order for installation. Space is tight though. remember its orientation when removing.
