The head would be somewhere around 200 bucks, give or take 50 depending on condition. Then if you dont do it yourself, your just paying labor to whoever installs it. You'll also need a new headgasket and the rubber trim that goes around the valve cover which you can get from honda.

Yeah what Triz said, except you will also need either an EX ecu, or a vafc 2, and an FIC if you put a cam in too, then tuning time...its not exactly that cheap I don't think. I would have put mine in already if I didnt have that damn crower cam too

on the 01-03 lxs you cant use the ex ecu... unless you put the egr valve with it and all other components... but on the 04-05 it might work because you already have the egr system... i tried that route( my year is an 02) but i needed alot more things than i thought... and it threw 2 codes, the egr and vtec codes...
