Just this two mods and here we are:

The room temperature was a wopping 103 degree WTF!
270 whp 278 lbs torque not bad cause I'm just geting started
NOW FOR THE FIRST OIL CHANGE LOL
MY CAR HERE \/

The Vic still running good and strong full cosmetic make over is done for day view at HIN's still my project still record holding.

Re: And So It Begins
The car comes with 265 / 295 to the crank from stock.
Be surprise, another MS3 in black that had a SRI, bigger intercooler, downpipe and a very expensive Greedy exhaust did less than mine almost stock.

On the other side with cat back, front mount intercooler and a port plug and play gadget. made 300 whp.

I'll be above the 400whp club again in no time like my civic or faster.
da vic still rulez

Man, nice to see you posting again, even if it is about a mazda.
Cool car, nice power. Whats your mod plans? I'm guessing you'll stay away from the bigger intercooler and downpipe?

Re: And So It Begins
Triz yes is nice to post again, and you are rightI'm staying away from big piping but the stock intercooler is very small although is nice to have the low end power on the city.
Civic-driver the bov does leak with time and I need a wategate, so that's my best mod.
emjay: boost? YES I'm addicted it sucks not be able to outrun evos and mustangs yet, I just keep up with them for now, but I miss the top end power of my vic.
As soon as I get shish from the Mazda community about civics, I borrow mine from my friend and drive down to the meets and all BS stops when the turbo spools and they are like aghhh.
I love it!

Re: And So It Begins
that must be a really efficient top mount for a guy with a similar setup and front-mount to have mad less power...unless the car/tune hadn't compensated for it correctly...

Re: And So It Begins
Hi Tony!
I hope you are well.
You are right, the guy didn't have proper tunning to compensate for the air moving more efficiently.
He is running on stock tunning and all that air is making the computer dump more fuel cause he was running rich.
Check his dynochart he was pissed:

there is only one plug and hand held device avilable to us for tunning, and a chip.
Non work perfect it reminds me of the days when we only had e-manage available and I'm not falling for it again.
Sniper is a local company developing hardware and software here in central florida.
They want my car to develop a system to work with my car.
Will see.

Re: And So It Begins
um this is a civic forum, take your Mazda somewhere else....
Kidding!
seeing those numbers from a nearly stock car makes me want to consider a trade in on one of those.

Re: And So It Begins
I hardly see any modified MS3's where I live. Good to see they are emerging in the tuning world, the potential is there for sure. At least you have a great platform to start with since it's turboed from factory. I'm curious to know how it compares in handling with the new Subaru WRX STI.

No contest the WRX STI is a car in it's own class, all wheel drive equal lenght axels, and a boxer engine.HOT!
Cons:
5 to 8 k more in price, and the new body style is kindda fugly for my taste.
Interior is very generic as well, nothing compare to the MS3
MS3 is limited production, will increase in value over the years if keept all JDM

Re: And So It Begins
Congrats, bro. Glad you have a new project that makes you happy. So you sold your civic, you said? Or you were looking to sell it?
Sucky, either way, you are the only competition I have left, lol. I never realized you were revving your engine to almost 9k, that's crazy. I should be seeing about 475+ whp at the next tuning session, I anticipate. But nonetheless, it's nice to be able to extract power "easily" from a motor. Although, I prefer a car that nobody expects to be fast.

Re: And So It Begins
I heard you bro.
I sold it I couldn't pass a 2004 Mercedes S500 and 10k cash
But there is not a day I still have some regrets, I miss my high end power.
I was ready for another challenge. I did as much as I could for the vic.
