the tsx head is stock = less flow than a type s head. i've learned that the tsx head is actually better to work with for porting. CAI>Short Ram....short ram intakes are prone to heat soak. The Cai sucks "cold air" from outside the engine bay rather than inside.

I say stick with the short ram. CAI are stupid. My friend just threw a rod in his type-s because his Injen CAI sucked up water and hydrolocked his motor.

Yeah later down the road im going to have the head ported and have a custom 3in intake Connect to my Velocity Stack. Also im going to be testing out a new intake manifold in the next few weeks.
Oh hell yeah it gets moving very responsive too!
I can barely keep her on the road as it is. Trying to drive a built and boosted k...no thank you..
Thanks man its been a long process.

those are great numbers for NA
I agree, i would stick with the short ram. Short ram has better higher end power, cai has better lower end power.

IMHO it would be a waste to change the intake. spend the money elsewhere!!

nice numbers. Why the k24a4 block and not the k24a2? is there such a price difference? what happens if you were to run teh k20a2 head? shouldn't it push more?

not quite, i bought a bike (01 triumph sprint RS 955i) and have been spending money like water on my RC hobby. Car kinda got put on the back burner for a little bit. But I just need to collect some more parts and I can start mocking things up. I still need to spend about another $2k in parts and then tuning and software.
I guess my fix has been comming from customer cars as well. I am in the midst of building a 07 dodge ram 2500 5.9l diesel. She should put down around 900whp all fuel and about 1100rwhp after water/meth and then 1300rwhp with water meth and nitrous.
You ever seen a 11 sec full size truck with a diesel??

Re: K24 Build Numbers
I have a cold air intake on my car and it puts it inside the fender well, but still high enough to not catch any water. How low are they on the Hondas?
and maybe I missed it but how much power did it make? and can I ask how much money went into it?
