i have been reading alot on the the o2 defouler and wondering if anyone is using one of these to trick the ecu into not throwing codes OR do yous use an 02 simulator? thanxs

yes, i have an lx header(kamikaze) and defoulder(bent) works for me

The non fouler works Ive tryed it a few times. Wish I knew that 2 years ago, lol.

Go to your local auto store, get 2 spark plug non foulers. Drill one out and thread it on the second o2 sensor, basically its just a spacer, then thread the other non-drilled one onto the other one and screw it into the bung. My best friends AP1 with no CAT has never once thrown an 02 code, EVER! it works awesome with no ill effects whatsoever.

what header did u get??? if its kamikaze, then probably hit the block, mine did, i got a bent one from a member here, if u want to find him hit me up, ill see if i still have his screenname saved

Never had to do this before. But can someone confirm that they have always passed state inspection with this? My friend has an 02 civic and did that on his car. No CEL nor anything. But when we were at the state inspection and they guy plugged it up to the machine, It failed his car even with no CEL of any kind.

Well of course it will fail an emissions test. The car is still shitting out noxious, un-catalyzed (not burnt up) exhaust. It's just that the ECU doesn't think so anymore.

My car passes emissions test EVERY year with the de-fouler. But your state test may be different. What part of the test did they say that he failed? In my state they test for as i recall 8 things and you can fail 3 of the 8. my last 2 years i didn't fail any parts of the test. But all they do is obd2 scan and thats it! No visual or tail-pipe sniff at all.
