YCP Pistons - Vitara
Any one running the 75mm Vitara pistons from YCP on d17's yet? They're quite popular on the d16 d15 turbos. I think people are getting a compression ratio of 7.7:1 - 8.5:1 those engines. Supposed to be dirt cheap, resisteant to heat and has high strength fromt he special heat treat they use....an alternative to forged pistons and they fit eagle rods. I think our compression will be in the 8's since our stroke is longer.
Anyways, maybe I'm just out dated and waiting to get flamed.

I like wiseco's. They've held up to all of the abuse I've thrown at them and that's ALOT of abuse. Whether they'd fit eagle rods is irrelevant as there aren't eagle rods available for d17's.

Re: YCP Pistons - Vitara
Our slugs are 3mm shorter than the D16 ones (to add the 3mm onto the stroke).... so anything that makes a D16 drop into the 8's isnt going to make this thing drop into the 8s.... it'll probably stay about the same.
