well... now that we've found the problem, lets move on to the solution... get rid of it. Get something useful...RSX injectors and E-manage, FI-C, PCS, EMS, or Kpro . Then get the car tuned and watch the car magically run like it should.

Re: trouble with turbo help
Take it off and sell it.
Then read this https://www.civicforums.com/forums/7...ucks-more.html
If you dont have enough money to do it 3 times over, then you shouldn't have done it at all. Its the honest truth. The car is incredibly unforgiving to anything but near-perfection when it comes to forcing air into the motor.
And then.... you're doing it with an AUTOMATIC?!?!?! There's a $2500 time bomb right there! Do it right, or don't do it at all. Even doing it right doesnt work out all the time. You've got no chance if you cut corners...
You have no boost reference, you have no means of tuning your timing, you have no means of accurately tuning the fuel mapping. Ever run naked through a cornfield backwards? Your car is right now.

Re: trouble with turbo help
then the shop should have tuned it. u cannot run a turbo (properly and safely, and to the best of its ability) without some kind of decent tune. How and why would you jump into the turbo world without having the money to back this up? this isnt fast and the furious kid, this is the real world, with real engines, and real problems. have them take it off and keep saving until you do it right. youre saying you dont have much money right now, if u keep going the way you are right now, then you wont have any money to fix ur broken car. get a clue.
Re: trouble with turbo help
i have money but it was pre tuned and its reading the rpms wrong and adding to much fuel at the wrong time it is about 4000 rpms off of what my engine is acually doing

Fwah....... you're going to hear the same thing from all of us man. Look for ST8RACE's threads on his bad experience with the TSI kit. It's not any good.
I gotta run to work right, but there has to be a solution to this. I'll hit back when I get home tonight.

Re: trouble with turbo help
Take it easy on him. I have the same bullshit kit and I called these azzholes and they told me everything was preset and nothing else needed to be done. I admit it was a huge mistake and when I was researching on a kit for the 7th gen this was the only kit that came up. They said there shouldn't be any issues the injection box was preset and they never issues from anybody else. They claim they sold hundreds of kits.
