AEM EMS and A/C
So, i just ran my A/C lines further away from the turbo for better cooling.
Now my A/C is not runnung.
I found a setting for A/C in the AEM program.
When I checked out it said (switch always off)
I changed it to (switch always on) the A/C ran just fine but it wouldn't switched off.
There was other settings.
The question is:
The AEM unit runs the A/C?
and if it does what setting are you guys using?
Any help would be appreciated

Re: AEM EMS and A/C
I have it plug in that way.
It's just weird that I can activate the compressor with my lap top.
there is a setting for high pressure and low pressure activation.
Also there is an RPM compensation for it.
Thing that would off come in handy cause I had my cat at 1400rpm at itle to compensate for the A/C .

A/C off above 90%
A/C on delay .52 S
Idle A/C 3.91%
A/C Switch #3 Grd=On
A/C Clutch LS6
Use these settings and all should be fine.

Re: AEM EMS and A/C
tried the settings with no avail
I got it to run on A/C switch 3 ground = off
but it stays on at all times no regular manual control
I got booth fans on delay
I change the rad fan to LS6 and it did the same on always

Re: AEM EMS and A/C
Do the fans come on at all? Or is just not operating under the default switch?

Re: AEM EMS and A/C
fans work under the default setting.
I did all the changes as you suggested.
Compresor still won't engage.
I experimented under different setting and the compressor works, the whole system works fine but it won't shut off manually.
I called AEM they sugested that I change the A/C parameters from
A/C to switch #3
I tried your settings in combination with the parameter settings and I get the same issues on all the time or off all the time.
This is very stange!
i got to get to the bottom of this.
I do appreciate all your help.

Re: AEM EMS and A/C
AEM tech support can't figure it out.
I took it to an electrician and he jumped a wire from the ECU to the main A/C switch.
It all was going good, I drove the car home with a cold *** interior.
Right?
So it started to rain and ,I turned the headlights on, and the compresor stoped working WTF
So I have to go back and tried to figure that out.
