Re: Attack of the CEL
Well... the Dezod kit new is expensive (for a budget ride) but you can purchase a used Dezod or a modified SF kit. The standalone isn't necessary... The E-Manage is more than enough for RSX-S injectors and 6psi.
I'd say that before i rebuilt the internals I spent less than $3000. The only thing I screwed up on was a proper tune... which started my downward spiral.
Turbo's a lot more than N2O but in my opinion much more satisfying.

Re: Attack of the CEL
Update on my little problem. I had installed the 2-stop colder spark plugs and STILL the car misfires ALL the time. It obviously is misfiring because it's running pig-rich at idle... but it didn't do that before I turned down the boost.
I have no pressure sensor as of yet, so the tuner had to have done it by throttle position. The fact I turned it from 9 to 6psi wouldn't have changed the idle... as far as I know. Could I have a bad coil pack? Can you foul coil packs by running too rich?
I still have a CEL... presumably from misfiring. It went away for a few days, came back for a few days, then went away again for 1 day, and has been on a week since. The car idles at like 500RPM and vibrates all lumpy like I had a cammed Chevy 350 in there. Paul and Chris... you guys both saw my map. Remember anything like being WAY too rich at idle?
