found this earlier... i duno if its legit or anything. no accessories i guess that means alternator and stuff like that. and no tranny. $1000 for the base model K? whatd u guys think?

Hmmm, I don't know about the engine. Doesn't come with a thing aside from the head, block, pulleys, and oil pan really. You'd have to source everything else which will add up the price in a big hurry. No ECU, no harness, probably no manifolds or TB either. I wouldn't buy it.
But did you see the head studs he's offering that will fit our D17s? They are for the D16Z6, which is the same as the ARPs that fit our vehicles. I'm not too sure personally though. I think I may cough up the extra $30 just to have the piece of mind with the ARPs. They're a known, quality, brand. Not "Rowenspeeds" or whatever the hell this guy is marketing his as.

yea i duno...im not looking for a kswap right now i dont think id have the money to pull it off anytime soon. i just get bored some times. i went onto ebay and typed in K20 to see what would show up and i saw that price n the lil pic n im liek hey....hey hey hey....but..yea now that i think about it and what all the "accessories" are loll. and its not even a type s or anyting crazy.o well just a thought.

you can get a base model k20 entire swap with trans and everything for 1500.... thats just not worth 1 grand you can get the same thing for like 600 bucks over on k20a.org

hey good point i didnt even realize that. i didnt know u can get a base model full swap for 1500.. why are the other swaps so expensive? for what...20 more horses or something. or is it a displacement thing.. o wait let me search be4 my thread gets locked.

not really but i figure it being a base model and all..theyre probably easier to find and what not. probably more of them exist than the tsx motors or even the type s ones... 20 or so more horespower and i think the displacemtn is higher in the type s and tsx motors so im guessing that would make it worth it? i never really searched i just took an educated guess..lol
