ok so if you read my last post, my wastegate actuator was ****ed. fixed it today and was boosting my car at 10 psi. the entire time i was boositng, i drive maybe 3 miles max (city) and i hit the highway, this is where my problem starts. im doing like 130kmhs, give it a bit of gas (car is auto btw) didnt even floor it, but the car downshifted and boosted right away, as soon as that happen i heard a tiny, almost unoticable 'pop' and my boost guage drops.

now when i drive the car, i hear my turbo spool (the shhhhhhhhh) i hear my bov (altho verrry faint) but i am getting abosolutely NO boost, not even .5psi. i basically drive what all ricers what, the sound of a turbo spooling and the sound of a bov, but no boost. i checked my piping, nothing SEEMS to have blown off.

i mean, i don't know what the symptoms of a blown turbo is, but is this it?

I think he's being serious...it could block the boost going thru the intercooler but thats not likely...you'd notice oil way before that...you probably blew a clamp on your charge piping...everything sounds good but no go...check those for sure

lol.. if there are traces of oil in the intercooler then that means you blew a seal inside the turbo on the blower side. You asked if you blew the turbo and i suggested to check for oil..

usually if the seals blow up they blow up big...so it wouldn't be a minor leak...you'd know it immediately by looking...like I said usually

usually is right.. i have gone through 6 turboed cars and everytime a seal went it was 50/50.. it either leaked a little or blew totally.

but if your not blwing then something went... wonder if he ever figured it out

Well, what's the story behind this? Did you break the rod between the compressor and the turbine?
