Re: Burning oil bad
Either faulty turbocharger or damaged pistons/rings.
Check compression, it it's ok, then it turbo itself.
Hope it is turbo, becuase you should have one year warranty still.

I did not install the oil pressure reducer. Could that be the problem? I read about it in the instuctions after we were pretty much done with the install. The compression is good and the plugs are the brown chocolat color they are suppose to be. I thought that I forgot the reducer maybe it has to high of oil pressure and it blew out the seals in the turbo.

i did the same thing, i ran my t3 without a restrictor for a year, and when i finally decided to install it, it was too late. i blew the seals on it and smokes a bit but it's not making it into my intake, so i dont really care. it's an older turbo and i was planning on replacing it this year anyways.

thats what i used, im using the golden eagle oil filter sandwich adapter to feed my turbo. i have that in between the sandwich and the 1/8" npt to -3an line adapter. if you dont have any NPT fittings in your line set, you might be able to find something similar in AN threads.

Re: Burning oil bad
Keep in mind this isn't always necessary, it depends on the size of your feed line. I'm running a -3 line and have no restrictor, haven't since I've had the turbo....
