Re: D17 Injector options
My problem with that theory is it's my only way to get to work. I'd have no car at all while I tried to pull that off... or I'd have to front the money. If I sold the E-Manage... I could probably only get $200 something because I lost the cable. Now I need to spend an additional $1000+ or so to get a standalone, plus the $350-450 for the fuel parts and $400 for the dyno tune.
So in order to get rid of that problem potential I just spent a theoretical additional grand. THEN... I'm sure there's something else I wouldn't have that I'd need to buy/fix.

Re: D17 Injector options
I went from buying a cheap-o used turbo kit that's all rusty now to blowing my HG, to spending an additional $5000. HOORAY!
Maybe in 3 years when I can hopefully afford all this, I'll actually even enjoy the car.

I feel for you, but I will not say what I ALWAYS say about cutting corners on a turbo car......

If you want, Paul, I can provide my sob story to you for advertising purposes. You've already been part of it when "The last set of pistons just got sold..." LOL
Besides... next year I don't know what's better to spend my money on... painting my house or a V3 manifold, I/C piping and a DP that won't rust solid.
