I'd imagine a lot more vibration if I didnt use the front mount either? Use it if you have it

well now that i got the k24 i cant use it... it binds the mount cause the motor sits lower.... if its wheel hop ur worried about then i suggest you get some a-arm bushings put in..

other than that hasport said you dont need it. Asked them a while back when i first did the swap

what?? I was busy with someone in my family dieing, and then I had church...... But anywho.. yes you all are correct. It IS a integra type-R and i will have a bunch of extra parts left over. And I have been doing some searching, but I wanted to get some other ppl's opinions on this. Thanks for all the advice offered already. Has anybody done a Hondata ecu with this?? Thats what I want to attempt to do. So I can run everything thru my laptop in my car. Lemme know if anybody has done this. Sorry bout all the questions, but from where i'm at, nobody messes with the K-series motors yet. Everybody is still stuck on the B-series or the H-series. I myself just left the h22 prelude and went to the k-series(soon). I've only seen 1 k20 swap done and that was in indy. He had a 94 hatch that ran a 12.3 with nothing done to the motor!!!!

First of all, as for the ECU, you will use the actually TYPE R ecu or you can use a type s ecu/kpro to make it work. I would use the type S ecu since you can take advantage of the immobilizer function in our cars.

You dash kit, i'm taking as you mean your gauges, can be changed out if you really wanted it. As for me, i'm just changing mine out to the 02 civic manual cluster. You don't need to use the SI CLUSTER, then you would have to go through the trouble of actualyl re-wiring it to work in our cars.

Third, yes you have to switch out the center console part where you automatic shifter sits right now. You would have to order that part around your shifter to adapt to a manual shifter. Its confusing but yes you have to switch out that front part of your center console to the manual one.

Engine mounts can be ordered from http://www.hasport.com/products/mounts.htm

YES TONS OF PPL HAVE DONE THIS. you should really search next time before you post something like this again.

I'm also doing an auto to manual and installing a k20a2 rsx type S motor in my car within the next month.

there is threads on here that states exactly what you need and how to do it. search please
LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!! you went back and changed your post at 1:35 am yesturday! what didnt like bashing?
