Emanage is one option, also looking into PCS-XFC aka powertrain control systems. I believe there is a plug and play harness available for the d17 for the emanage ultimate so that will be another option instead of emanage blue. IMHO aem ems > PCS-XFC > emanage ultimate > emanage blue > tsi fuel system > vafc/safc 2.

You can use all of the above w/o vtec except VAFC2 sorry I didn't mean to confuse you. Instead use an SAFC2. If you ever decide to get a head swap off an EX you can use a VAFC2 though.
call up paul at dezod and talk to him..
i wouldnt get e-manage. look into the pcs...or aem ems if u wanna send the money. the more options u got on the tune the netter ur car will come out.

Yes that is ABSOLUTELY necessary. The stock fuel map is only good for like 3psi if that. You need larger injectors like rsx type s to be able to run 6-8 psi.

as much as people dog the emanage..i must say that for the money, it really isn't a bad system. it honestly does it's job, the only thing that's really out of reach for it is partial throttle boost and vtec. you don't have vtec, so that cancels that out.

i severely advise against the vafc and safc. unless the newer versions have drastically improved their scale of tunability they are not going to do what u need. when i first started my adventure. the intervals and rpm ranges of those two were very broad intervals. where as with other systems u have the ability to tune more precise at a distinct rpm range and intervals

Boost pressure sensor and harness is a must along with the main harness, ignition harness, and injector harness. If you by his plug and play harness it will already have th injector harness and ignition harness. Just PM dezod or speak to him before ordering and he will tell you everything you need to have.

The injectors have nothing to do with boost, it is about how much hp you are making. The stock injectors are good for up to about 185whp.
