boosting untuned?...

is it ok to get into boost untuned? I have a 14b turbo and it spools up at around 2500 rpm but my car is an automatic so it switches gears at around 3000-3500 rpm and gets into boost. I just want to make sure it won't hurt it too much because i am going to get it tuned next week. any help would be appreciated.

Driving under boost untuned borders on the downright stupidest thing that you can do. Disconnect the wastegate actuator, let the flapper fly open until you can get it tuned.

i wouldn't drive it anywhere at all till the tuning was done, you risk blowing your engine all together, course maybe thats a good excuse to "need" a K-series ...

so, with that thought ... go for it and push it hard !
