K20A engine harnass help
K20A engine harnass help
Ok i just have one question, i tried to search, but no luck. I want to know if there is any difference between an K20A engine harnass compared to a K20A2.
I have a k20a harnass converted by hasport for my EMII, but i will be using it on my A2 since i got the harnass for a really really good price.
So are both harnasses teh same thing? please help me out

^^hm...bc JOSH (drivetoofast) said the k20a harnass does not have some sort of temperature switch or soemthign like that.
I just want to minimize any sort of re-wiring that josh will have to do later to minimize time.

the A2 and the A are in general the same motor which run exactly the same. only difference would be the cams and the pistons.
Think about it. If the k20a harness doesnt have the temp switch then how does it cool the motor? For that matter how does it detect the engine temp? Im sure the jdm cars have an engine temp gauge in the car?
Just saying.. lol... think about it.. haha
anyways the only difference is the reverse lockout solenoid.. think about how much people are using complete type r conversions.. why is it that they have not said anything about it.. lol.. unless i missed something that nobody is telling us about.. dont know.. maybe the 2 cars i did with complete type r swaps (complete meaning motor ecu and harness) running kpro.. hmm.. if anything did go wrong they had no check engine lights.. no engine codes popped up.. no overheating.. no nothing.. so... uhh.. im being a little sarcastin.. lol.. can you tell.. but dont know what else to say.. only one i would stay away from is the k20z.. i havent messed with those harnesses yet

^ i agree with you there man... should be exact same if not similar... only thing I can see being different is the immobolizer?
I gotta some how figure out how to rewire my k20z1 harness...
I'm sure I can get it to work somehow right?
