My next move should be.....
My next move should be.....
So I haven't been on the forum in a while due to school and such, but I once again need some advice and help. I have a 03 ex turbo with a t28 turbo, aem ems, 550cc injectors, custom 96 intake mainfold conversion and everthing else need to keep the car nice and happy. Long story short while driving....not racing (though I which it would have went out like that) down the hihway I started hearing a "knocking" sound. At first I thought it my be my IC piping hitting the subframe so I payed it no mind. While continuing to drive I kept hearing the sound so I pulled over poped the hood and tried to find out what was wrong. I took the dipstick out only to find it covered in oil. One minute later the engine DIED. Got it towed to my shop and the engine is locked up. Now any suggestion would be greatly helpful. Build it? Bigger turbo? Sell it? What? Dezod I need your help too! Pros and Cons needed as well
Thanks in advance!

Rip it apart and figure out what broke. No sense just throwing money at it, figure out what went wrong. No oil and knocking sounds like you blew the rings and probably spun a bearing. Figure out how messed up stuff is, you may just be able to repair what you got and get back on the road.
Yeah rip about the block, check everything. Then once you find out what caused the problem fix it and might as well build the block. The pros to building it is you can boost a lot safer. Cons is you spend money. T28 is a pretty decent turbo, and if your not looking to break 300whp then you can stick with it.

I guess for starters, find the oil. Look in the turbo and the downpipe... if its full of the stuff, then you know you've had it in the cylinders and you at least need new rings. Also check the charge pipes, if there's oil in there, then check the turbo seals.... thats really the only way you'd end up with oil in there. If thats the case, it probably would have been going on for a while if you dumped 4 quarts through a leaky seal. If it looks like its all over the engine bay, then its possible that you've sprung a leak (head gasket, oil pan, etc...).
