i am getting a set and was wondering if i need to gap them or r they ready to run as is? also what r the lifespan on these. the BK7E's seem to be only good for about 6-9k and 9 is pushing it it seems.
anyone have these?

yeah i was thinking about just using them out of the box. dezod told me like a year ago that they r good out of the box so i will try them that way.

While you're not really supposed to regap iridium plugs.. I'd be hesitant to run them at the factory gap when your car is boosted.. I dont think i'd go all the way down to .030, but i'd be more comfortable with them at around .040 or .038 depending on how much boost youre running.

Rep Power: 308 ive been told that ik20s are fine out of the box. plus, gapping iridiums is more or less risky. you have to be really careful.

Yeah after giving it more thought.. Iridium plugs arent cheap.. and if theyre said to work fine out of the box, id just do that. But in the event that things do go downhill after putting them in, then id consider regapping.
