my own experiance. for some reason the car starts to spit when i have these pluggs in there for more than 9k. dont get me wrong they are really good pluggs for the price and i have been using them up until now and i might switch back. bu ti want to try something different.

yeah i was thinking about just using them out of the box. dezod told me like a year ago that they r good out of the box so i will try them that way.

ALWAYS, check the gap on the plugs before you install. I never trust that smoeone at the factory or in transit could have bent something.

While you're not really supposed to regap iridium plugs.. I'd be hesitant to run them at the factory gap when your car is boosted.. I dont think i'd go all the way down to .030, but i'd be more comfortable with them at around .040 or .038 depending on how much boost youre running.

ive been told that ik20s are fine out of the box. plus, gapping iridiums is more or less risky. you have to be really careful.

Yeah after giving it more thought.. Iridium plugs arent cheap.. and if theyre said to work fine out of the box, id just do that. But in the event that things do go downhill after putting them in, then id consider regapping.
