D17A1 block

how much hp can the stock D17A! block handle with out putting new sleeves in or anything, i doing the internels on my motor and turboing it and planning for 250-300hp will the stock block handle that

with rods and pistons, a block guard, and some sort of reliable engine management/tuning. Yes. SOHC sleeves have been proven to hold up descent. I would recomend arp headstuds as well. I am making 250+ (dynojet) whp at 8 pounds on stock rods and pistons with arp rod bolts. Have been for quite some time now. AEM ems and crower custom cam are among the many ingredients in my recipe though. Bottom line is the stock rods, rings, pistons, and bearings are holding up ok for now. I have a built short block waiting though so Im not too worried.
