Water to Air Intercoolers???
OK, I live in sunny Phoenix Arizona!
Id love to turbo my car!!! But Before I just jump into anything, I do my home work.
So In phoenix, It gets as HOT as 120 some days. I am a college student that works full time! I drive my car everywhere!!! I was told by my local shop to go with a water to air intercooler. I trust these guys. In a perfect world id run a t3/t4 from dezod, and I'd "like" too push 12 PSI. In a perfect world that is…
But what the PROS & CONS of a water to air intercoolers?????
THANKS!!!

While water-to-air intercoolers are an alternative to air-to-air don’t be fooled by false promises of huge gains. Expect 4-6 hours for mounting a water to air intercooler style (requires mounting the core, water lines, water tank, water pump, additional radiator, wiring etc.) Don ’t forget the added maintenance of servicing all those components. The water pump will draw additional power away from the engine. This causes an actual loss in power over stock in the lower portions of the rpm band

air to air would be the best choice since it is a more streetable and simpler solution. Dont get all crazy with this stuff, a daily driver civic doesnt need a bunch of extra crap that can fail. Simplicity is key here.

ONce the fixed volume of water reaches the temp of the air running through the pipes, its useless.
For a drag car that you can load with ice, yes. Street car.. no.
