High Compression Question

Im in the market for 11:1 Pistons and light weight rods. My question is, would the car need to be tuned in any way to run such high compression? Would the stock tune function erratically? Would i need to change my spark plugs or timing?

(Maybe better in tech forum?)

You might get detonation with that high of a compresion ,stock timing and fuel. I would not bother until you have purchased aem ems.

11:1 is a big change from stock. You will definitely want to get it tuned or you will be buying more than just new pistons and rods.

i would say it could, but the EMS has proven to do alot better after redoing your internals with more powerful ones.
