I was wondering, to all those who have done a swap, 1)how much power are you putting down, 2)what did you put in, and 3)what mods if any have you done to the engine.

Rep Power: 0 I already went through the "turbo it" phase, then i looked at my mileage. i got the car used nov 05 with 15k on the odometer, a few months later im now at 36k, and those are not granny driven miles, so a turbo is out of the question for me...until the swap. But i started the thread to see what the best setup would be. Also trying to see what kinds of motors those who do swap have k20 or k24. Because now im stuck in between the two and trying to figure out which one i should get

Rep Power: 273 u want high revving power go k20
u want low end torque go k24
u want low end torque with higher hp then k20/k24
u want a high revving with low end torque... build the bottom end of the k24 and slap on a k20 head
if you want to do the same thing with a k20 motor get a stroker kit

Rep Power: 227 I am have a K20a2, AEM V2 intake, heat wrapped Strup Race header, and Hondata. I hope to get her up and running this weekend, so I will let you know about the whp. I am hopeing to put down somewhere around 190-200whp on a mustang dyno, which equates to around 210-220whp on a dynojet. we will see

Rep Power: 0 Looked at a k20a2...the car was still around it though. Think i will test drive it and an EVO Thursday. Not sure if I could afford it, but at least i will know how it feels with some power in pretty much the same body. I would hate to get rid of the vic though.
