sadly, it isnt easy to get a good tune at a good price...boilermaker and i have been looking around shops in our area for well over a month now and we cant find anything that suits our needs. honestly you need to narrow your search down to your immediate area. ask knowledgable people in your area and most importantly call as many shops as you can and ask for estimates. then compare price and reputation. but you usually see both those things go up at the same rate..
Depends on the engine management. I paid about 600 for full tuning on my standalone. But as you mod more and turn up the boost, you need more tuning. Rough estimate should be around 150 an hour including dyno time. Regular piggyback should be under 500. Standalone would be more of upwards of 500.

I paid $125 as i recall for ONLY WOT tune on the dyno. I did the rest of the tunning myself. I would think full tune would range from $200-400 for piggyback maybe even more. But like andy says he paid $600 for his AEM tune and i think thats a REAL good price . I've heard of it running much higher!
ive probably spent upwards of $800 total for tuning. For an hour on the dyno just getting a basic tune when i first turboed i paid $135. It adds up quickly, but saves you down the road
Last time I had this much fun some furniture got broken!

Well you MD guys, if you want really good tuning, can try slow boy racing up here in PA. They have an excellent reputation.

Skip... I'm either just going to pony up and take it to Agile Auto in baltimore ( at $200 an hr), or take it to Inline Pro in springfield, who depending on who you talk to, does decient work or great work, probably depending on the car, but I'm going to talk to them. It seems they build a lot of fast cars, I don't know their blow up numbers though. I'm going so conservative I hope it can't be screwed up too badly.

I suggest calling them up. lmk wat they say cause im plannin on taking my car there once i get my turbo project goin. here's their site if you wanna check it out:
