turbo install pictures
i like how all the people with little to no knowledge about turbo kits and setups all say it looks good and all (which i do agree with), while everyone who even has the least bit of knowledge on anythign turbo related will point out the fact that the kit is a POS and is not going to last very long.
good luck

^^^ummm, where've you been??? i've seen/heard people telling horror stories about obx manifolds for at least a year now....and longer for the tsi kit. I haven't had the pleasure of eoxperiencing either of them, but i hope to get the dezod kit soon...*praying*...
both kits/manufacturers have been around for a while, but the arguments for both sides are about 50/50...seems like a hit and miss to me..

damn guys leave him alone. its a nice setup. if it breaks its his problem. there is a difference between warning, and flaming. if he didn't do his research its only his fault.
nice pics. good luck with it.

It looks very nice BUT as others have stated nicely and others a bit rude. Please when you get the money invest in a new manifold and wastegate you can get a good quality manifold made with quality metal for not too much and you can always get it coated with I cant remember what its called but a heat resistant coating that will give you that chrome plated look. I havent had any experiences with this brand of wastegate but remember you get what you pay for.

to check to see if your wastegate is failing, you will have to take the cap off the wastegate (normally held on by 8 hex key bolts) and check the diaphragm. If you see any discoloration in it or any lines, it is probably going to fail within a short period of time.

Goes to show that ppl i'll buy wtv looks good without research. Has anyone seen the thread on Honda-tech where the "XS power" turbo's compressor just fell off. You'll definitely need to brace the turbo if you plan to keep it. With all the custom manifolds out there I don't see why ppl even resort to obx, with the price of logs manifolds @ 250$ how much more do you wanna save.
I hope I offend you... Get mad

Im on motor number 3.
I broke the first one (several pistons, scored cylinder walls, trashed bearings)
2nd one was a temporary replacement
And the 3rd one just went in today and is fully built.
