A3 Engine Mount Questions

I have searched the k20 FAQ thread and have not found a definite answer for this.

I am considering doing an k20a3 swap into my EM2 coupe.

I have heard the engine bay dimensions are similar between the Si and EM2. I would like to know that if I use the the subframe from the Si will the OEM Si engine mounts work without modification?

Also will the Si axels be the best fit in this situation?

i think you will still need aftermarket motor mounts.

Yes you do need the mounts cause the k-seires engine sits on the oppisit side of car, and yes the si halfshafts will work just fine.

you can use the si front and rear mounts.... but why do that when the hasport already comes with the rear ones anyways... you can put the oem front from the si if you want to
