Supercharging K20A question?
I just got of the phone with Keith at jackson racing and we have been trying to figure something out... Basically im wondering if anyone has put a supercharger on an EM2 with k20A *ive seen the a3* Which kit was used *the SI or RSX* and if its possible to adapt the Rsx blower kit? From here say what we know is that the Si kit works and is easier to adapt, but i want to know about the Rsx kit mostly because its longer and the angle of where the blower sits is different, however because of this it has a better flow than that of the Si kit. So any help, any pictures, any thing would be great!

Im leaning towared the Si kit the more i think about it. But When i spoke to kieth it could be sppooled upwords of 10 or 11 psi vs the 9 of the Si, not to much more, but still im just curious as to what else would have to be done to adapt the Rsx over the Si.

i'm in that boat of decision on a s/c as well since I got my rsx.. you can possibly put the rsx kit on but it would be real tight and the 11 psi pully has been pulled off. I thought I seen one on clubrsx that had the k20a in an em2.. if I find it I will post back

Yeah I'm with you. I want to make about 300whp supercharged on an a2 and got a little nervous that the si supercharger and engine building and crap might not be able to put me there.

well i am one step ahead of you.. i have my supercharger right here in front of me.. I am just waiting on my Toda Race header to come in and putting them both on together. I too will post pics when it's installed. K20a supercharged.. also to let u know.. it's a good thing u went with the si supercharger, cuz the rsx one wont fit unless u trim your radiator support. PM me anytime.

hehe. He knows what hes doing. Tons of help from people, and it will be tuned as soon as its on. He will do it all proper. His swap is freakin sick. Mad props on it! I raced him like 15 times. Hes gonna smoke me when the supercharger is in. I can beat him for now.
hmm so putting a si supercharger on a k20a would work? i was gonna supercharge my rsx a3 with the si kit but clubrsx said it's not possible. apparently the pulley's and some other stuff weren't the same...
yeah. you HAVE to use the ep3 idler pulley to make it work.
if you want a k20 swap + s/c, then you either have to have no power steering or electric power steering ... the hydro power steering pulley will NOT fit.

^^^ and, according to keith, you almost have to get the race kit. the little black box for engine management with the street SI kit is different than the rsx box. so then you have to buy that. which puts it right about the same price as the race kit.

forget that its K-pro time for the little box
i'm gonna try it with the rsx s/c..... if i have to grind the rad. support so be it... i mean i didn't swap a k20a2 to stay behind the pack so alittle mod like grinding is not a big deal to me.... i have no p/s and no a/c.... i just hope it fits sfter i grind the support? if not i can always sell it to some rsx guys

i'm waiting for people to be the guinea pigs. i want the SC to feel like i have a big motor, without sacrificing the fuel economy so much for my needs. once i feel the quirks are worked out, we'll see
