probably because they too are misinformed. The engineers and designers of the turbo kits do not make the website. The highschool computer prodigys that ride bicycles to work and dont know about anything outside the computer world write the web pages.

There's a really easy way to get what you want and know exactly what it is.
Buy it from the place that makes it. Garrett lists distributors, call them (I'll vouch for ATP Turbo in California, or Kinetic Motorsport in Canada (who also ships to the US)) and just spill out what you want. Call Precision Turbo, or Phoenix turbo, or Turbonetics, or whoever else makes them, buy direct or from a listed distributor who knows what they're selling you. Makes life easier, especially on the turbo models with lots of trims and wheel combinations.
I suppose this requires going custom, but who said getting what you wanted was simple.
