Turbo size help, Please!

Ok, I have been torn between the decision of swapping a k24/k20 in my em2 or going turbo. Well I think i've decided to go turbo then I have something to move up to in the future. Anyways, I want to build up my motor from the bottom end with sleeves, rods, and pistons. Then do a d16 intake manifold with cams and all and hopefully run about 20psi of boost tuned with aem ems. I know turbo's have a trim size but I don't know what size turbo and what trim would be good for this kindof setup? I want something that spools up at like 3500-4000 ish so that the bov will be kindof quiet when in traffic everyday but loud when I get on it. any advice will be helpful. thanks.

To do what you are talking about will cost about 10k+ done right if you are doing the wrenching. Not to come off as a **** but if you have plans to to all this, you shouldnt be asking what size turbo you need. You will need to know much much more, with great attention to detail. 20psi, stand alone, and you dont know what size turbo you need? It depends solely on what you need for power and where you want it. Read the turbo faq a few more times, buy Dezods ultimate kit, then have it professionally tuned for about 5-8 pounds. Next, get used to all the bull that goes with turbos, then decide how much futher you wanna take it. You will not be able to go into it cold, bolt all that crap up, and be have it be successful. I tell everyone this; Learn to walk before you run. Live by that motto and be patient, you cant learn to convert one of these cars to F/I having no prior knowledge and build it into a full blown race car at the same time.
