Nitrous Install Pics

Just thought I'd show everyone what I've been up to the past month. Thanks to everyone who helped me with my questions and your patience with me. I know some of you got discouraged with me on some of my posts. This was my first nitrous install on a fuel injected car and I just wanted to take every precaution I could. Anyway here's some pics.

Where do I start.... I'm in a place called Sykes, TN. It's in Smith County. Yes all those relays are for the nitrous. Let's start with the one closest to the battery. The first one powers the fuel and nitrous solenoids. The second is for the purge solenoid. The third is for the window switch. The instructions for it said it would only supply a ground up to 1.5 amps. I didn't know if how many amps the solenoids pulled, so I ran a relay for that part of the window switch. The fourth is for the bottle heater. Yes, I have sprayed it several times with the 35 shot. I only sprayed it twice with the 50 shot and on the second time, my check engine light came on. I assumed it was because it was a rich mixture because I didn't have a bottle heater and it was like 30 degrees outside. So I got the bottle heater, electronic nitrous pressure gauge and the wideband a/f ratio gauge. Right now i'm waiting on a set of Denso IK20 plugs because I was told not to run the autolite coppers I had in it for the nitrous. Someone on here told me Autolites suck in our cars. As far as a dyno run, there's not one close by here for cars that I know about. There's one close by that I ran my bike on, but that's about it. Thanks for all the comments

Taht looks Very clean, when GRD (in chicago) installed mine, they did a terrible job. I let it slide, but I just recently uininstalled it and went back to n/a. I loved it, but wish it was a cleaner set-up. congrats!

When I sprayed it my only complaint was that it hesitated a little before you could notice it. I guess it was running rich every time I used it. With the pressure gauge and the wideband, I'll be able to really tell what's going on. I can't wait to get those plugs in.

It's a window switch. Turns on at 3000 and turns off at 6200.

Hmm 3000 RPM's seems a bit early. You are probably running a little rich at 3000 RPM's which could be cause for a delay. Theres a slight delay on mine from when I hit the button but I like it because it gives me time to get my hand back on the shifter to shift cuz when you hit it in first, you're at 7000 RPMs real quick.

You spray in first? Mine spins alot in first since I put in those motor mount inserts. I tried in second and third. I thought about gettting a 3500 or 4000 rpm pill for it. What rpm do you start at?

Can you give me a link to those motor mount inserts. I think mine are going bad and was wondering how difficult it is to install them and what not.

The only time I spray is when I drag race at our local track. I spray as soon as I catch traction from my launch which could be anywhere from 3500-5000. I would put in the 3500 pill and see how that feels. Spraying at 3000 I would be worried about nitrous detonating in your Intake Mani and blowing it up which happens when you spray too soon.

I got the inserts off ebay. I only paid like 25-30 bucks for them. They're made by Energy Suspension. I only installed the front ones. At first I installed both front and rear, but the vibration was so bad, I took the back ones out. Here's some on ebay, but act fast, there's only 8 hours left on them. Thanks for the advice on higher rpm activation. I'll get some higher rpm pills. Here's the link.
