Ok so yes this is my first post, but I have been a member of the site for alittle bit now and the reason I didnt post before was no need to post when I could just search and find the answer I needed, but I searched and couldnt find a forsure answer. So hear it goes, I have an 05 civic vp and I am going to swap for a k20z1 then turbo after the swap is done, I have been looking for this engine for some time now but couldnt seem to lock one down, I finially talked to a guy in canada that works at a salvage yard and he said he has a few of theese engines a 05 an a 06 he said he could sell me the engine, ecu,tranny,and harness for 3k shipped to my door and will be sending me picks tommorrow, since well its alittle to far for me to drive lol. my question is is that a reasonable/good price for all that stuff? sorry for the long ppost and being a nub

well.. if u think about it.. type s complete goes for around $3800+ in my area.. dont know about others but im guessing a k20z might be a little more... if your doing the swap urself dont forget that u cannot use the k20z ecu... if your gonna use kpro your gonna need the 02-04 type s ecu and the clipover from hondata

yes my freind will be doing the swap just cause he has more experience in swaps then me. Thanks for the info about the ecu and stuff, maby i can get him to through in the ecu for FREE heheh, any other helpful facts?

sounds like a good deal my friend but good luck with that turbo next to firewall. may have some clearance issues. But Hassport will have your mounts and header for N/A
