2800 for a Type R..he may just got the block...anyways no matter what, a K-series swap will cost a lot. Just a lot of stuff is needed and required to make it work. I got quoted 8300 to swap a K20A2 in my 7th gen civic and it cost me 8000 to put the swap in my 95 EG civic. I decided to put it in my 95 civic just b/c performance wise, the 95 is better.

^ JDM Integra Type S is not to be confused with an RSX Type S ... the motors are not the same.

Speculation is that he has an Integra Type S motor.

^ my bad.

I'm sorry if I come off as a d*ck, but I hugely against mis-information ... it's a huge pet peeve of mine when it comes to forums ... because they are a place for information.

People make huge decisions based on the information they read and if they are reading something that is not completely correct, they get screwed for it and start blaming people or the entire forum.

I hate to be a part of that blame, so I try to voice my opinion and facts whenever I see something that can potentially mis-guide someone else's judgment.
